I don't know where to even
start with Tracy. Describing Tracy is like trying to explain a
feeling. She is a devoted mom who loves her son deeply. Tracy has a wonderful and refreshing sense of
humor and is very dear to my heart as she looks past her reality to see
the world around her. Tracy is the person that I am the most close
to as she not only wants to receive, but has so much to give, emotionally
and intellectually, and as I have told her, she is beautiful, both inside
and out. She is a woman that enjoys living life through letters and
photos since that is her only experience with the world; feeling, seeing and hearing the experiences
that are shared with her. Through photos and letters, she rides horses
with my children and visits the Bahamas and Hawaii with Sara and me.
Tracy's letters make me smile, or can
make me sad as she opens up her deepest feelings and fears.
She has begun opening herself up in ways that she never has
before, even though feeling vulnerable is scary. I trust her
so much.
In 2008, I had the pleasure of visiting Tracy in May and much to my
pleasure she was even more fun than before. I woke her up with an 8:00am
(unexpected) visit and enjoyed my time with her to her discomfort of being
unprepared! The first words out of her mouth after she screamed and
covered her face were "I didn't even pluck my eyebrows! I even had the honor of being introduced to
her son Marcos and have begun enjoying his company through his letters.

I have had the opportunity to spend quite a bit of visiting-time with
Tracy over the years and have found her to be a wonderful in person.
We always have a great time when we are together. Tracy has a great
sense of humor, is resilient and just all around a wonderful woman. If
there was anyone that I could transport out of her current situation, it
would be Tracy. Oh, her mom has always called her 'little bit'
because when she was born, she was premature and only weighed 4 pounds!
Just knowing who Tracy is and the life-events made her who she is makes
Tracy even more special to me. Tracy is my little doll!
